Numerous publications in the fields of Trauma, Foot and Ankle disorders, and Spinal conditions, reflecting wide trauma experience and basic science knowledge in lumbar spinal disorders.



Mr Braithwaite has prepared reports for the Court since 1991, and currently prepares approximately 200 reports per year. He is fully compliant with the CPR rules, and has received training in the preparation of medico-legal reports. Mr Braithwaite keeps up-to-date with recent developments, attending courses.

Mr Braithwaite prepares reports for claimants (50%), defendants (50%), and jointly instructed reports (very few).

Names and contact details for solicitors who instruct him regularly and who act as referees can be provided.

Mr Braithwaite covers all aspects of general orthopaedics, but has special expertise in spinal disorders (neck, thoracic spine, low back), and foot and ankle disorders. He deals with all orthopaedic trauma.
